The Alpaca lives in a herd and can be found on the Andes of southern Peru, at an altitude of 3,500 m. (11,500 ft) to 5,000 m. (16,000 ft) above the sea level. Alpaca resembles a llama in appearance. It is not a kind of pack animals. Rather, it is bred specifically for the fiber. The clothes made from Alpaca fiber include blankets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Their natural fiber is various in colors. In Peru, the Alpaca fiber is categorized into 52 natural colors. Pattaya Sheep Farm has two breeds of Alpacas; the Suri alpaca and the Huacaya alpaca.
